Really need much longer for appointment slots as theres only so much a doctor can do in 20 minutes and you wait months to be seen.

Mr Panayotidis was my consultant through the fertility treatment and birth of my first child and through the fertility treatment and current antenatal care of my second child. My first child was born premature at a low birth weight also with other non-related medical issues therefore my second pregnancy is being more closely monitored and consultant led. Throughout both my fertility treatments, the care I have received from Costa has been fantastic, he used every technique available to determine the cause of the infertility issues, gaining my confidence, listening to my questions and giving me positivity. Although most of the procedures were invasive, I felt comfortable with them, especially as Costa talks so enthusiastically about the scan images making you concentrate on those instead. During this pregnancy Mr Panayotidis decided to treat the prematurity and the growth issues of my previous pregnancy separately and has requested extra growth scans to determine the growth of my current pregnancy as well as cervical scans to determine any early indication of premature labour. If there are signs of potential early labour then precautions can be put in place such as steroid injections to prepare the babies lungs for early arrival. I have more confidence in Costa, I feel happier with my baby’s welfare to be monitored regularly and I feel that the risks around premature labour and small growth rate are being limited.
